3. Take note of the name, affiliation and contact information of your member of Congress. Use an internet search engine or local media to locate the member's office nearest to you, along with a office telephone or fax number.

4. Contact your member's local office using the information gathered in Step 3. When contacting the local office, check for any upcoming meetings or rallies where you can meet face-to-face with your member of Congress.
