Be sure that you customize the template to accurately reflect your organization's branding policies.

Constant Contact is used by a variety of businesses and organizations for e-mail marketing, survey distribution, and event marketing. One of the hallmark features of the Constant Contact program is the ability to customize the templates you use in these areas so that they accurate reflect the brand or personality of the entity which is sending them. Fortunately, knowing how to edit a Constant Contact template is simply a matter of knowing where to look.

Instructions

    • 1

Login to your Constant Contact account and select the "Email Marketing" near the upper right portion of your screen. Once there you should click on the "Create an Email" button near the center of the screen.

    • 2

Give the email a name and press "Next." This is just a name that you will use to identify the email in the future; it is not something that anyone on your email list will be able to see.

    • 3

Choose from the existing e-mail templates that Constant Contact has created for generic companies and situations. Click "Next." Once you have filled out the requisite information click "Edit Email."

    • 4

Customize and edit the various boxes on the screen using Constant Contact's drag and drop administration features. These allow you to edit not only the content of the boxes but also their layout and configuration. If you are more tech savvy, you should click "Advanced Features" on the left side of the screen. This will open up the HTML page for the e-mail template for you to edit as you see fit.
