Instructions

    • 1

Book a flight from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on Aeroflot to Los Angeles. The length of this flight is approximately 12 hours, with a connection in Amsterdam.

    • 2

Select a partner airline to make the jump from the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport to Anchorage. Aeroflot partners with Delta and offers fly-through trips where you need only to clear customs in the Anchorage Airport upon arrival.

    • 3

Fly from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport to Seattle (two connections) on Aeroflot to a West Coast city like Los Angeles or Seattle. This does not reduce flight and travel time, but offers another passage into the states and to Alaska. Select your connecting flight to Anchorage on Delta, or Alaska Air.

Tips & Warnings

  • Because the Alaska Marine Highway System (the ferries) depart Bellingham, WA and go to Haines or Skagway, still 900 miles to drive to Anchorage, it is more feasible to fly from Moscow to Anchorage.
