How to Kill Fleas With Hartz Ultraguard Flea & Tick Drops

Hartz Ultraguard Flea & Tick Drops are an over-the-counter treatment for flea and tick control on dogs. The drops also kill mosquitoes. The treatment has a special application tip that allows you to easily apply the drops directly to your dog's skin. One treatment lasts for a full month, killing existing fleas and also preventing further infestations.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the application tip so that it is pointing away from your face and twist it clockwise until you hear the inside seal break.

    • 2

Place the applicator tip between the shoulders of the dog, in the middle of the back. Part the fur so that the applicator tip is on the dog's skin.

    • 3

Squeeze the container gently to expel the flea treatment. Slowly make your way down the dog's back as you squeeze, right down the middle, all the way to the tail.

    • 4

      Repeat the application monthly.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use these drops on cats or kittens or dogs that are smaller than 5 pounds or younger than 12 weeks old.
