How to Send an Invite to All Friends on Facebook

Facebook allows you to invite people to an activity by creating an event. An event can be something that occurs solely in the digital realm or something that occurs in life outside the Internet. If you want all of your friends to attend an event, you can invite them all at once.

Instructions

      Sign in to Facebook. Click "Home" in the upper-right corner if Facebook doesn't automatically redirect you.

      Click "Events." Find it in the left panel of the Home screen, beneath the links for your News Feed and Messages.

      Click the gray "Create an Event" button. Fill out the event form with the appropriate information.

      Click "Select Guests" from the area where it says "Who's Invited?" A new window will open.

      Check the box beside each of your friends' names to select them.

      Click the blue "Save and Close" button.

      Click "Create Event." Facebook will send invitations to all of the friends you checked.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you created your event prior to sending an invite to all of your friends, visit the "Create an Event" screen and choose "Edit Event." Alternatively, click on the name of your event and choose "Select Guests to Invite."

  • For an alternative method of managing your events, click "See All" in the Events section in the right panel of your Home screen.

  • In addition to your Facebook friends, you can invite people who do not have Facebook accounts. Add their email addresses to the guest list, and Facebook will send an invite to them as well as to your Facebook friends.
