How to Get Limited-Edition Items on Meez

Meez has expanded into a social network in its own right after beginning as a site where users could create an avatar and import that character into another social network. Now, players can take their players to virtual, three-dimensional rooms that represent chat rooms. While the central focus of the game is still talking to other people, the premise of visiting rooms and interacting with the environment adds a refreshing element to the genre.

Instructions

1. Open a browser window and navigate to the Meez website (see Resources).

2. Hover your mouse over the tab at the top of the page labeled "Shop." Click "MeezMaker," the first option, to create a new character or edit an old one. Log in to access your created characters or start from scratch if you want to make a new character or don't have one yet.

3. Search for the phrase "Limited Edition" in the search bar over the available items for purchase. This will bring up only limited-edition items. The thumbnail images will be surrounded by a yellow frame marked "Limited Edition" at the top-right.

4. Click "Try On" to test an item on your avatar, then click "Save" underneath the image of your character to buy the item. Complete the process of signing up as a Meez user to keep your character.
