Spray the awning with a pressure washer to remove much of the dirt, debris and other accumulation. The water pressure combined with the heat will effectively improve your awning's appearance. You may need a ladder to reach the awning appropriately. Use caution with an aluminum awning because too much water pressure could dent it.

2
Mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid into a bucket and mix it with hot water. Dishwashing liquid is a degreaser and is very useful in breaking up dirt and oils.
