      Decide whether you want to open an invoiced/charged account or an account with an account number that can be used with various forms of payment. The invoiced/charged account offers the same form of payment for everyone on the account, preferred pricing, the ability to track spending on the account, monthly invoices and tax-exempt reporting. The other option --- an account with an account number --- offers the ability to use multiple forms of payment on the account, preferred pricing, the ability to track spending on the account and tax-exempt reporting.

      Click on the account option that you wish to open. Complete the form that requests some general information about your company and your shipping habits. Click "submit."

      Wait for FedEx to contact you. A company representative will review your information and set up an account for you.
