Most registries make it easy for the guest to find and buy a gift without any hassle. Once you understand how to locate the couple through a registry, buying a gift will be a snap.

Finding Registries

1. Call the bride or groom and ask them directly where they are registered. If the bride or groom are not accessible, contact a family member or friend of the bride or groom for assistance.

2. After finding the different stores that the couple is registered at, go on-line to the stores website. On the website, you can find "Wedding Registry," which will then ask you to fill in the bride or groom's last name. Make sure you know one of the two last name's for accuracy.

3. The website will give you a list of names that match your criteria. Choose the couple's name that you are looking for. This will then direct you to their wedding registry list.

4. Look at the items on the list. The website will tell you which items have already been purchased and which items need to be purchased.

5. Select the gift item you would like to buy. Prices will be listed.

6. If you are not an online shopper, go to the store directly after finding out which stores the couple are registered at.

7. At the store, find a kiosk or employee to assist you in finding the registry. The kiosk or employee will ask you for one of the couple's names.

8. Select the couples registry list and print it out. You will find the items in the store.

• If you shop online, you can send the gift directly to the bride or groom's house.

• Make sure to look at the quantity list of the gifts. The couple may ask for more than one of the same item.
