How to Find History on Firefox for Windows

Your Firefox history lists recent website you have visited and is accessible through the top menu bar. In some versions of Firefox, such as the latest version 4, the menu bar is hidden from view. Although hiding the menu bar offers a larger screen for viewing websites, it makes finding key features hard to find. However, if you know how to invoke the menu bar or use shortcut keys, the history feature is readily available.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Alt" key to make the menu bar visible.

    • 2

Click "View" on the top menu bar, select "Sidebar" and then "History" to display the History sidebar, which appears on the left of the screen. Alternatively, you can hold the "Ctrl" key and press "H" to open the History sidebar.

    • 3

Click "History" in the top menu bar, and select "Show all history" to open the History panel of the Firefox Library. Alternatively, you can hold "Ctrl" and "Shift," and press "H."
