How to Clear Browser Cookies in Firefox

Web browsers store bits of website information called "cookies" on your computer. Cookies are text files containing preferences and a variety of other information that will help the site load faster the next time you visit it. You can clear all of the cookies from Mozilla Firefox, or you can only clear cookies from a specific range of time.

      Open Firefox.

      Click "Tools" in the upper-left corner of the Web browser.

      Click "Clear Recent History...."

      Click the drop-down menu to the right of "Time range to clear" and select "Everything."

      Click the drop-down arrow to the left of "Details" and click to check the box to the left of "Cookies."

      Click "Clear Now." The cookies in Firefox will be erased.
