How to Use Multiple Devices With Kindle Content
Kindle is Amazon.com's digital reading and publishing platform that is available through a range of dedicated Kindle devices and as software applications for smartphones, computers and tablets. Content purchased through the Kindle store can be downloaded directly to up to six devices and, depending on the licensing model applied by the author, shared between them through a single Amazon.com account. Each device must be registered to this account in order to share Kindle content.

Tips & Warnings
If you delete an e-book from one of the Kindle-equipped devices, it can be downloaded again free of charge as long as the device remains registered to the Amazon.com account.
E-books can be manually sent to any registered device from the "Manage Your Kindle" page on Amazon.com.
If you unregister a Kindle-equipped device, any content associated with that Amazon.com account will be removed.
