How to Highlight Text and Print in Firefox
The Internet makes a wealth of information available at your fingertips. To aid in referencing such information, especially when you are away from your computer, you can print it out. However, you if you only need a certain piece of information, you do not have to include the entire page and graphics. Instead, you can choose to print only a portion of the page by highlighting the pertinent text within your Firefox web browser.

Open Firefox and locate the page that has the text you wish to print.

Hold down your left mouse button down at the beginning of the text, and drag your mouse pointer to the end of the text to highlight the portion you wish to print. Release the mouse button.

Press "Ctrl-P" to open the "Print" window.

Click "Selection" under the "Print range" section of the "Print" window.

Press "OK" to print the selection. This will print only the area you have highlighted, rather than the entire page.
