How to Do Booklet Printing

Use Micorsoft Word to design and print booklets.

Printing booklets is a great way to attract potential customers, guests and audience. While most office stores offer services like printing booklets and brochures in bulk, you can choose to save some money and print these yourself on your computer. All you need is a printer to print the booklets. Microsoft Word, the most commonly used Word processing software, is fully capable of designing a booklet.

• Printer
• Microsoft Word
• Booklet paper

1. Launch Microsoft Word from the Start menu.

2. Click "Page Layout" and choose "Page Setup." Click the "Margins" tab. Choose "Book Fold" from the "Multiple Pages" drop-down menu. Choose a size for your booklet based on the paper you will be using to print the booklet.

3. Type all the information that you need in your booklet. Choose a preferred font type and font size.

4. Add images to your booklet. Images can make your booklet stand out and convey important information. Click the "Insert" tab. Click "Picture" in the "Illustrations group." Browse to navigate to the image that you wish to add. Double-click to add the image. Drag the edges of the image to resize.

5. Perform a spell check. Click the "Review" tab. Choose "Spelling & Grammar."

6. Click the "Save" button to save the booklet.

7. Connect the printer to one of the open USB ports on your computer. Turn it on. Place the booklet printing paper in the paper tray.

8. Click the Microsoft Office Button and choose "Print." Enter the number of pages you wish to print and click "Print" again.
