How to Apply Shine to Marble Tables
Marble, an expensive and attractive stone, lends an elegant touch to floors, kitchen counters and tabletops. Over time marble loses its shine. You need to apply shine to marble tables regularly, at least once a month. Applying shine to marble tables is a straightforward task; all you need is a commercial marble polish and a scrub sponge. Sprinkle the marble tabletop with hot water and, before the water evaporates, quickly wipe the table's surface with a microfiber cloth. Buff up the marble's surface with another dry microfiber cloth.

Pour one cup of marble polish evenly on the table's surface. Spread the polishing cream around the table's entire surface using a sponge. If you have spray polish, spray the table's surface evenly. Never use products that are designed for materials other than marble.

Scrub the tabletop using a scrub sponge and leave the polish to dry for three to four hours.

Wet the sponge with hot water and wipe off the polish from the table's surface. Buff up the marble using a dry microfiber cloth.

Tips & Warnings
Keep the polish away from your eyes. Never swallow marble polish and other chemicals.
