How to Draw Cobwebs
Cobwebs are easy to draw. They add a little something extra to a letter, invitation or drawing for a specific occasion such as Halloween. Follow these simple instructions to draw a cobweb with a spider in it.

1
Draw a large X on your page and then draw large + intersecting it. The lines should be about the same length.
-
2
Draw slightly bent lines, shaped liked a parentheses, between the connecting straight lines. Similar to drawing an inside-out cloud. Begin close to the center. When you've completed the circle, do the same again, but further away from the middle.

3
Work your way out toward the edge of the straight lines until all the empty space has been filled.
-
4
Lengthen the lines of the X to act as support for your web.
-
5
Draw a few spiders in the cobweb -- they will add dimension to your drawing. A black spot with eight legs will do the trick. You might want to also add a bug spun up in the web as the spider's meal.

Tips & Warnings
Not all the lines have to be straight or identical.
For a more natural look leave uneven space between the connecting lines.
Draw a big square around the cobweb to make it look like the web is in a window.
