How to Do the Speakerphone When on an iPhone Call
The iPhone smartphone is both a personal digital assistant and a portable media player. The phone also features a speakerphone that affords users hands-free communication. Although users can use a Bluetooth headset to communicate hands-free, the iPhone features a built-in speakerphone. To activate the speakerphone when on a call, you just need to tap the on-screen "Speaker" button.

Press the "Home" button on your iPhone. Slide your finger across the bar located at the bottom of the screen if your phone is locked. Tap the "Phone" app.

Tap "Keypad" and enter the number you are calling. Tap "Call" and the phone will dial the number.

Tap "Speaker" to continue the call on your iPhone's speakerphone. Tap "End Call" after the conversation ends.

You do not need to wait for the other party to answer to tap "Speaker."
