How to Disable Screensavers for DVDs
Your computer can do a lot of things, and its abilities vary greatly. When you're not busy working, you can even use your computer as a form of entertainment. If you have ever watched a DVD and relaxed for a length of time, you may have experienced your screen saver popping up and interrupting the movie. Although annoying, this feature is simple to disable, and you can get back to watching your movie without further interruption.

Click "Start" and click the "Search Programs and Files" field.

Type "disable screensaver," and select the listing entitled "Turn Screen Saver On or Off."

Click the drop-own menu under the "Screen Saver" heading. Click "None" and select "Apply" then "OK." The screen saver will now be disabled so you can properly enjoy your DVD.
