How to Rip DVDs Using VLC
Unlike a DVD, digital video files can be loaded onto a personal media player, uploaded to a video-sharing website or emailed to friends and family. Services that digitize personal DVDs, such as graduation discs and family videos, may be expensive and may require to you to entrust them with your disc, which could be accidentally lost or damaged. To avoid costly bills and potential disc loss, you can rip your DVD to a digital file via VLC media player, which uses direct video recording to copy a DVD to your hard drive.
