How to Get Your Screensaver to Stay on Without Going Off
A screensaver will start after a computer has been idle for a set amount of time. If the computer remains idle, eventually the display will go to sleep (shut off) and then the computer itself will go to sleep. This sleep mode is designed to prevent battery and power drain while the computer is not in use. If you wish to prevent the display from going off, leaving the screensaver running, you can adjust the power options.
