How to Create Blank Separator Pages

When you are creating a Microsoft Word document, it is sometimes necessary to include purposefully blank pages. Blank pages can be used as separators from other content and are particularly useful in leaflets, brochures, magazine mockups and books. In order to avoid disrupting the overall formatting of your Microsoft Word document, insert page breaks to create blank pages.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start," type "Microsoft Word" and then press "Enter."

    • 2

Press "Ctrl"+"O." Locate and then open the document that you wish to add blank separator pages to.

    • 3

Browse through the document until you find a place you wish to insert a blank page between.

    • 4

Click "Insert," and then "Page Break." This inserts a page separator break into your document.
