"Free Realms" is an online multiplayer game that puts you in the shoes of one of four characters. Once you enter the "Free Realms" world, you can begin buying houses, customizing your apartment and shaping your everyday virtual life. "Free Realms" is only accessible by visiting the "Free Realms" website. The game requires you to create an account, select your character and confirm that you are at least 13 years old or have a parent set up your account. Once your account is created, you can immediately begin playing.

Visit freerealms.com. Click the green "New Players" button.

Click "Quick Play" or "Customize." "Quick Play" allows you to choose a premade character, while "Customize" allows you to customize every feature of your character. If you select "Quick Play," choose the character of your choice. If you select "Customize," choose the base character and select the character's features.

Enter a name for your character. The name is split into a first name and last name. You must choose a combination of two names for your last name. For example, you can choose "Sour" and "Feather" so your last name would appear "Sourfeather." You can also choose a random name. Click "Next."

Type your desired username and password. Click "Next." Select your country of residence and age. Click "Next." Enter your email address and click "I agree" next to the terms and conditions. Click "Next."

Agree to the license agreement and click "Continue." The installer will attempt to run on your browser. Allow the installation to continue. Once the installation is complete, the game will launch. You can enter the game again by visiting freerealms.com and clicking on "Existing players."
