Spread knowledge of Christianity with printed booklets.

Computer technology enables anybody with a computer and printer to create a booklet about the topic of their choice. When working to spread knowledge about Christianity, a booklet can be a clear and concise medium to communicate information to others. Use a word processor to write the content of your booklet and then place it in a booklet template. Once one has written and formatted a digital booklet, they are just a few mouse clicks away from printing it onto paper.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the text file containing the booklet in your word processor.

    • 2

Open the "File" tab in your word processor, and select "Page Layout."

    • 3

Under "Page Layout" change the margin of the document to 0.5 inches on the top, bottom, and both sides. Check the "Book Fold" box and change the orientation of the document to landscape. Then click "Ok."

    • 4

Open the "File" tab in your word processing program, and then select "Print." This will open up a print options window.

    • 5

Determine whether your printer can print in duplex. Duplex printing is when both sides of the paper are printed at once, rather than requiring the printer to print the sides one at a time. Most consumer-grade printers can not do duplex printing, while most heavy-duty or office printers can. Select the "Manual Duplex" check box under print options if you do not have a duplex printer. If you do, then select "Properties" in the print options window, and configure the duplex printing options.

    • 6

Set the page range you want to print under print options.

    • 7

Make sure your printer is powered on, filled with paper and correctly synced with your computer.

    • 8

Select "Print." If you have a duplex capable printer, then your booklet will come out of the printer double sided. If you do not have a duplex capable machine, then the printer will complete one side of each page of the booklet and then prompt you to place the printed pages into your printer's tray to have their other side finished.
