How to Mix Paint Glaze
Paint glaze is a thin mixture of paint that is applied over a base coat. Glazes are normally used when you are painting faux finishes. Glazes can also be used when repainting cabinetry. Glazes are essential elements for creating quality dimensional paint treatments. When glazes are mixed with paint, it extends the drying time, giving more time for texturing and different faux finishes. Glazes come in different colors and you can make your own glaze color. The general ratio for mixing glaze with paint is four parts glaze to one part paint. Does this Spark an idea?
