Instructions

    • 1

Shave the area around your pet's wart. If any hair is left on the area, the hair will painfully be pulled out, when the tape is removed.

    • 2

Apply a strip of duct tape onto the wart. Make sure the tape is applied firmly and little air or ventilation is given to the area.

    • 3

Remove the duct tape after six days. Peel the tape back slowly, so it does not harm your pet.

    • 4

Soak the area in warm water. Don't make the water too hot, but you want the water to be about lukewarm. This is usually best done during your dog's bath time.

    • 5

Apply some wart removal medication to the area. Medicine specialized for dogs that is designed to avoid skin irritation, is always best.

    • 6

Repeat the process until the wart has been removed. Typical results vary, but the normal amount of time for the duct tape removal method is about two months.
