iPod touches with 8 GB do not currently have a way to delete videos from the iPod menu itself. However, it's easy to delete movies from your iPod while it's connected to any computer. With only 8 GB of space, movies can quickly fill up the hard drive, leaving little room for music and podcasts. Clear out your movies frequently after watching them to keep space free.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug your iPod 8 GB into your computer with the USB cable that came with the iPod. If the iPod doesn't light up it might be out of charge, so wait a minute or two while it charges.

    • 2

Open iTunes on your computer and click on your 8 GB iPod icon. A menu will open up below the iPod; click on "Videos."

    • 3

Click on a movie you want to delete and press "Delete" on your keyboard. Click "Continue" if a box pops up. This will delete the movie permanently.

Check the space on your iPod by clicking on the iPod name again, then the "Summary" tab. At the bottom of iTunes you'll see a bar that shows how much space is taken up, and the type of data.
