How to Use FeedBurner as a Newsletter
FeedBurner is an RSS feed service that allows you to send out the content of your website via RSS feed to a feed reader or via email. To use FeedBurner you must have a website with a blogging platform, such as WordPress. You can use it with free blogging sites, such as Blogger. You can use FeedBurner to integrate an email newsletter into your site.

Sign up for FeedBurner on their website (see Resources) if you haven't already done so. FeedBurner is a free service.

Put the URL of your website in the "Burn a feed right this instant" field and click "Next." This should be the website that you want associated with the newsletter. Confirm the name of the website and the feed and click "Next." On the following screen, click "Skip directly to feed management."

Click on the "Publicize" tab and click on "Email Subscriptions" on the left sidebar menu.

Activate the service by clicking the "Activate" button. Once you do this you will see different options appear under the "Email Subscriptions" link, which you can adjust as you need to or leave the default settings.

Copy the HTML code on the main "Email Subscriptions" tab. You must paste this code onto your website. Usually this goes in the sidebar of the website. If you are not comfortable with HTML code, get your web designer to place it on the site for you. This code is how people will sign up for your newsletter.
