How to Laminate Cards
Decide which laminating process is for you. There are two main options for laminating cards including cold press laminate and hot press laminate. Cold press laminate is simple to use, and you do not need any additional equipment. Laminating machines do a higher-quality laminating job than cold press, and home versions are inexpensive. If you will be doing a lot of laminating for a home business or another professional endeavor, a laminating machine is a good way to go.

Buy a laminating machine at an office-supply store, a grocery supercenter or a hobby shop in your area. To use most laminating machines, you load the laminate into the machine, plug it in and wait for the machine to heat. When it is ready, you just insert the card to be laminated.
