1
Choose a photo on your computer, and reverse it using photo editing software.
-
2
Print out the reversed image on decal paper, and cut it to the desired shape.
-
-
3
Place the decal paper on a baking sheet, and heat it in the oven following the manufacturer's instructions.
-
4
Place the plate and decal paper into the same bowl of water. Peel the image away as it begins to curl from the paper backing.
-
5
Position the image over the plate so that it no longer looks reversed. Carefully remove the plate from the water so that the image stays as flat as possible.
-
6
Blow-dry the decal onto the plate on low. Smooth the image so that it is completely flat on the plate using a damp paper towel until it looks as desired. Let the plate dry.
-
7
Preheat the oven to the temperature listed in the manufacturer's instructions for the decal paper. Place the plate in the oven for the time designated in the manufacturer's instructions.
-
8
Remove the plate from the oven, and let it cool before using or displaying.
