Dish Plus Instructions

The Dish Pro Plus from Dish Network is part of a series of satellite antenna that are the next generation of Dish antennas, following the early version of antennas, now referred to as Legacy antennas. Dish Pro Plus antennas contain a certain single-switch technology that allow them to handle the satellite signal in a more efficient manner than the older Legacy models. The basic instructions for the Dish Plus are fairly straightforward.

Instructions

      Screw the four cement or wood screws into the pre-drilled holes in the base of the mast at the mounting location. The mounting location needs to have an unobstructed view of the southern sky.

      Place the main Dish Plus antenna assembly on the top of the mast. Align the mouth of the mast clamp on the back of the assembly with the top of the mast, then gently press down until the assembly fits into place. Tighten the screw on the mast clamp to secure the assembly onto the mast.

      Plug the RG-6 coaxial cable into the "Cable" port on the base of the main assembly, then plug the other end of the cable into the "Antenna" port in the back of the antenna receiver.
