How to Find My Green Card Number
A green card is used to show proof that a person from another country has been granted permission to live and work in the United States. There are several ways to obtain a green card, including a petition filed by family, refugee status and employment in the U.S. Every green card has a green card number that is assigned to the cardholder, and there may be times when you need to find the number.
