How to Find a Snow Plow in Michigan
Michigan certainly sees a lot of snow in fall, winter and spring. For many people, a simple shovel or snow blower fails to clear enough snow from the driveway or property. Whether you own your own snow plowing business and looking for a new plow, or you need to push your own snow, many stores sell snow plowers and equipment in Michigan.

1
Visit local snow plow companies during spring or summer. Larger snow plow companies often sell their unused or unwanted snow plows in the off season to make room for new plows before the fall and winter.
-
2
Contact winter equipment companies like B & B Truck Equipment or Mid-Michigan Snow Equipment. Not only do Michigan winter equipment companies sell snow plows, but they also have business relationships with area plowing companies. If they do not have the right plow for you, they may give you the contact information for area plow companies that sell older plows.

Drive around up north. One of the best ways to find a decent snow plow for a good price is to simply drive around Michgan north of Flint or Saginaw or west of Battle Creek. Since the northern and western parts of the state get a lot of snow in the winter, many people buy their own plows to plow their own street, driveway or property. During the spring and summer you'll see quite a few people placing the plows on their front lawn with "For Sale" signs on them.

Purchase an ATV with a snow plow attachment. All terrain vehicles allow for multiple attachments for hauling, lifting and plowing. Outdoor sports stores like Cabelas in Dundee usually sell these vehicles and accessories. However, online retailers also sell ATVs and snow plow equipment.
