The Best Way to Store Headphones

Avoid untangling headphones when you are in a hurry by storing them correctly. Wrapping them in a loop and securely tying them will make them easier to store and grab when you are in a rush. Headphones can be used with MP3 players, computers or other devices that provide personal audio.

• Ribbon
• Storage pouch

Instructions

1. Detach the headphones from the MP3 player, CD player or other audio device.

2. Secure one end of the cord between your thumb and index finger. Wrap the cord loosely around the palm of your hand. You will create a circle with the headphones.

3. Cinch the circle in the center. It should resemble the number 8. Tie a knot with ribbon or secure a rubber band where you have cinched the loop together in the center.

4. Store the headphones in a separate bag or next to your personal audio unit.
