How to Find People's Accounts for WoW

The World of Warcraft Armory will allow you to search for people's accounts.

There are many credentials that you can use as information to help you locate someone's account on World of Warcraft (or WoW, as it is commonly called). Unfortunately, knowing a person's real name will not help you locate her account. You can however locate someone if you know the guild, race, class or server that she uses. The WoW website has a section called The Armory that is a large searchable database used to find user accounts.

Instructions

1. Go to the World of Warcraft Armory website.

2. Type your search terms in the search field. To get the best results, input a character name, team name or server name here. Click the search button.

3. Choose the tab at the top of the search results that matches the type of search you performed. (For example, if the term you searched for was the player's guild name, click the Guild tab to show only matches in guild names.)

4. Click the boxes at the top of the search results list columns to sort the results in a way that is helpful to you. This can help you narrow down the results, making it easier for you to find the person you're searching for.

Tips & Warnings

• Although other websites allow you to search for WoW accounts, the official WoW Armory is the most comprehensive and up-to-date list available.

• The more information you know about the account you are searching for, the more likely you are to find it.
