How to Put Two Images Together Using Photoshop
As a creative tool, Photoshop exceeds most similar imaging software with its built-in capability and creative complexity. The trained technician can seemingly perform visual miracles working with simple images on the monitor screen. In fact, Adobe Photoshop has earned such a reputation that its own name has become a verb. Learning how to put two images together in the same picture is one of the first steps in becoming a Photoshop expert.

1
Open "Photoshop," and go to "File" on the top menu bar. All further menu headings refer to the top menu bar.
-
2
Find and open both images, then open "Image" and select and make a note of the "Image Size" for both images. Put the note aside.
-
-
3
Go to "Window," "Arrange" and "Tile Horizontally."
-
4
Choose the smaller of the two canvas sizes. Go to "Select," and click on "Select All."
-
5
Select "Edit," and click on "Copy."
-
6
Move the cursor to the larger image, click to select it, choose "Edit" and click on "Paste."
-
7
Open "Image," and select "Canvas Size." Find the width of the pasted image from the note made in Step 2, and add it to the width of the open image. On the "Anchor" figure below the "Width" and "Height," click either the left or right square, depending on which side you want the pasted image to appear. Whichever side you click, the pasted image will appear on the opposite side. Click "OK." The two images now appear side by side in the same frame.

Tips & Warnings
Images close to the same size work best. If the images are exactly the same size, select either one to copy and paste.
If you choose to "Drag and Drop" one image on to the canvas of the other, expand the canvas size to fit the second image before moving the dragged image.
