How to Clean a Jenn Air Model 2365 EGS Charcoal Filter
The Jenn Air 2365 EGS does not utilize a charcoal filter in order to filter smells from the oven. It utilizes a mesh filter that catches grease and smells as the vapor created by cooling dissipates through the blower. The filter is called the grease filter and you can locate it inside the rectangle housing next to the blower motor. Remove the filter from the rectangle housing. The filter does not bolt into place. You can simply pull it out.

Fill your sink with 1 gallon of hot soapy water and add 1 gallon of distilled white vinegar. The vinegar will break up the grease in the wire mesh.

Submerge the filter in the solution for approximately 1 hour.

Rinse the filter off with hot flowing water from your kitchen sink faucet.

Allow the filter time to air dry before placing it back into the blower housing.
