Instructions

    • 1

      Measure the pillow form.

    • 2

Add 2.5 inches to the measurements. For example, if you have a 14-by-14-inch pillow form, then your measurements will be 16.5-by-16.5 inches.

    • 3

With your tape measure or ruler, measure a 16.5-by-16.5-inch piece of polar fleece. Use the fabric marker to mark where you need to cut the polar fleece.

    • 4

Use your scissors to cut out the square of polar fleece you measured.

    • 5

Repeat this step with the second piece of polar fleece.

    • 6

Lay one square of polar fleece down on your work surface with the "right side" facing down. The "right side" is the side of the fabric that you want to be on the outside of the pillow.

    • 7

Lay the other square of polar fleece on top of the first piece with the "right side" facing up.

    • 8

Pin the two squares together to prevent the fabric from shifting.

    • 9

With your scissors, make a cut on the edge of the fabric 2.5-inches long. Do this every two inches along all four sides. This will make 2.5-by-2-inch strips along the edge.

    • 10

Starting in one of the corners, tie the top strip to the bottom strip using a double knot. Repeat for each strip, working your way around three sides.

    • 11

Insert pillow form into the open side.

    • 12

Finish tying the strips of the open side in double knots to complete the pillow.
