How to Add Contacts in Google Wave

Google Wave is a Web-based collaboration and communication application. While Google stopped actively developing Google Wave in August 2010, Google Wave remains online and available for use. Google Wave users have a contacts list that appears at the bottom-left corner of the Google Wave page. Users can see which of their contacts are online in Google Wave on the contacts list and add them to existing wave conversations or create new wave conversations with them.

Instructions

  1. Within a Wave

      Open a wave containing the user you want to add by clicking its name in the Inbox pane.

      Click the user's icon at the top of a wave.

    • 3

      Click the "Add to Contacts" button.

      Click the "+" button at the bottom-right corner of the Contacts panel.

    • 5

      Type the user's email address into the "Address" box.

    • 6

      Click "Submit."
