How to Cancel My Domain Names in GoDaddy

GoDaddy.com is an Internet Web hosting company that offers a variety of website services, including domain name registration, e-commerce solutions, blog integration and integrated website building tools. GoDaddy customers can register a domain name for a minimum of one year and up to nine years without having to renew the service. If you do not wish to keep a registered domain name, you may cancel it at any time during the registration period using a few easy steps.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the GoDaddy.com website.

2. Enter your customer number and password into the login fields at the top of the homepage. Press the "Enter" button on your keyboard or click on the small "Left Arrow" button next to the login fields on the form.

3. Click on the "My Products" link located under the "My Account" menu bar.

4. Click on "View in Domain Manager," under the "Domains" heading.

5. Check the box next to the domain name you wish to cancel. Click on the "Delete Selected" option, located above the domain name list. When the confirmation dialog appears on your screen, check the box next to "Delete domain(s)" and click "OK."

6. Check the email account associated with your GoDaddy account for an email confirming the deletion.
