Creating a hyperlink in a PowerPoint presentation is accomplished via the "Link" function.

      Open the PowerPoint presentation and locate the text to hyperlink.

      Drag over to highlight the text to hyperlink and click "Insert" from the top navigation ribbon.

      Click "Hyperlink."

      Click "Existing File or Web Page" to link to an external file or site.

      Click "Browse" and navigate to the file or web page for the link.

      Click "OK" and save the presentation.
