How to Unzip Zipped Files in Windows 7
Windows 7 comes equipped with a built-in utility for zipping and unzipping files on your hard drive. Zip files are a popular way of storing and compressing files and folders on a hard disk. If you have one or more zip archives on your computer, you can unzip them using Windows Explorer's built-in Compressed Folders application.

Open the folder containing a zip archive that you want to unzip.

Right-click the zip archive and click "Extract All."

Enter the location on your hard drive where you would like the extracted files to placed. Click "Browse.." if you would like to navigate for it.

Press "Enter" to extract the files. The folder you extracted the files to will automatically appear on-screen, allowing you to immediately begin working with them.
