Instructions

    • 1

Lay the bed sheet out on a flat surface. Cut off the curtain tags using a pair of scissors. Avoid ripping off the tags, as this can result in ripping the seam.

    • 2

Locate the top of the bed sheet. Bed sheets have a 2-inch to 4-inch sleeve of fabric that runs along the top edge of the sheet.

    • 3

Pull the seems out of the sides of the sleeve along the top of the sheet with a seam pick. This will rip the seams out, creating an open sleeve.

    • 4

Cut off ripped thread with scissors to create a clean appearance.

    • 5

Slide the bed sheet onto a curtain rod by inserting the rod into the sleeve. Repeat this process using as many bed sheets as you need to fully curtain the entire length of the stage.

  • Use flat sheets in darker colors. Thicker fabric sheets make an outstanding selection, as they block light from showing through.
