How to Unsync MySpace Updates with Twitter

With sync turned on, all your MySpace updates also become tweets.

All MySpace users have the option to sync status updates with their Twitter accounts. When sync is on, every update you post to MySpace automatically appears on your Twitter account, and all your tweets automatically post to your MySpace account. If this duplication becomes a problem for you, you can turn off the MySpace/Twitter sync from your Twitter account.

Instructions

1. Log into your Twitter account.

2. Click your name in the top right corner and choose Settings.

3. Click Connections.

4. Click the Revoke Access button next to MySpace. Your accounts will no longer sync.

Tips & Warnings

• You do not need to log into Myspace to make any changes; revoking access from within Twitter takes care of everything.
