How to Make a Sexy Angel Costume
There are a variety of ways to be a sexy angel for Halloween. One idea is to go all white, with accents of silver or gold for the more typical angel look. Another idea is to go with an all black or a black and red costume to be a sexy fallen angel. Or, you could be both, and mix a devilish costume with an angel costume. The instructions here are for a classic white angel costume, however, it can be modified to suit your tastes and the look you are going for.

Put on the white dress and look in the mirror. See if it needs to be shorter or if it could use slits on the skirt to make it sexier. Sheer white fabric can be added where the slits are cut. This would add visual interest by being slightly see through as well as giving the dress a softer, flowy look. Take the dress off until needed.

Put on your foundation garments. A good push up bra always adds drama and sex appeal. Put on your stockings. These can be traditional pantyhose, but thigh-highs are also an option and will add another level of sexiness. Thigh-high stockings can come with elastic built into them so they stay up, but some do require a garter belt. If you go the garter belt route, make sure it is also white.

Put the dress back on. Add the wings at this point and look in the mirror to see how the overall look is coming together.

Do your hair and makeup. If you have longer hair, add gentle curls to it and put it partway up. This will leave you with wispy tendrils for that innocent sexy look. For makeup, do a romantic smoky eye and add plenty of mascara. Add a subtle cheek color and a light bronzer. Make lips kissable in your favorite shade of red, pink or nude. Be sure to add gloss for more appeal. Dust exposed skin with glitter dusting powder. This can also be used in the hair.

Put on the halo and slip into the high heels. When looking for shoes, consider ones with ribbons that wind up the leg or jeweled straps. High heels can make your legs look longer and slimmer. If you know you will be standing for a long period of time, be sure they are as comfortable as possible as well.

Tips & Warnings
If the elastic on the wings is uncomfortable, add long pieces of white ribbon to use instead. Tie into place over the shoulder and under the arm.
