How to Move the "WoW" Chat Pane

World of Warcraft (WoW) is the most popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in the world. In addition to the game's vast amount of content and limitless opportunity for interactive game play, WoW also has a customizable user interface. All of the components of the user interface can be moved and customized, either directly from the game's software or through the use of free third-party add-on software. The chat window can easily be moved, resized and customized to fit your needs.

Instructions

1. Open the WoW software and log in. Select a character and start the game.

2. Hover over the "General" tab of the chat window with your mouse. Right-click on the "General" tab.

3. Select the first menu option, "Unlock Window."

4. Left-click the "General" tab and drag the chat window to a new location on your screen.

5. Leave the window unlocked, or you can relock it by selecting "Lock Window" from the right-click menu.

Tips & Warnings

• Once you have unlocked the window, you can resize it by dragging from the lower-right corner of the window.

• You can also change the font size, the background color and the opacity from the same menu.

• You must unlock the chat window to move it for each new character you create.
