Multi-Satellite Dish Installation
Multi-satellite dish antennas are designed with built-in switches and are customarily integrated into Low Noise Block (LNB) modules. This allows them to handle multiple receivers at the same time. Each receiver connected to a multi-satellite dish antenna can view a completely different stream of programming from the antenna. Multi-satellite system antennas are designed with multiple connection ports at the base of the LNB modules on the dish assembly to allow for connections to multiple receivers. The process of installing a multi-satellite dish antenna is fairly straightforward.

1
Screw the four to six wood or cement screws into the four to six pre-drilled holes at the base of the mast. The mounting location of the antenna mast must have an unobstructed view of the southern sky.
-
2
Place the opening of the mast clamp, which is attached to the back of the main assembly, on the top of the mast. Gently press down until the assembly fits firmly in place, and then tighten the screw on the mast clamp to attach the assembly to the mast.

3
Plug the first RG-6 coaxial cable into the "Out 1" (or equivalent) port at the base of the dish assembly (just under the LNB module), and then plug the other end of the cable into the "Antenna" port of the first satellite receiver.
-
4
Plug the next RG-6 coaxial cable into the "Out 2" (or equivalent) port at the base of the dish assembly (just under the LNB module), and then plug the other end of the cable into the "Antenna" port of the next satellite receiver. Continue the RG-6 coaxial cable connecting process for each LNB receiver port that you wish to use.
