Instructions for the Hughes HRMC-15

The Hughes HRMC-15 remote control is designed to work with DIRECTV satellite receivers. It is part of the HRMC series of remote controls made for use with the receivers. The remote has a number of control button options to control the various programing navigation and system programming needs for the receiver. The remote can also be programmed to control other components in your entertainment center. The basic instructions for the Hughes HRMC-15 are fairly straightforward.

Instructions

Basic Controls

1. Press the component button to choose the device (DVD, VCR, AUX, TV or SAT) you want control.

2. Press the "Power" button to turn the device on.

3. Press the "Ch. Up/Down" arrow button to navigate through the programming channels.

4. Press the "Vol Up/Down" arrow button to turn increase or decrease the volume.

Device Programming

1. Aim the remote at the device you want to control.

2. Press and hold the component button (DVD, AUX, etc.).

3. Press the "Mute" button for two seconds, then press both buttons at the same time. This will program the remote to the device.
