How to Enable MMS Messaging on a Motorola Q

The Motorola Q is a Windows Mobile-based cell phone available from multiple carriers, including Verizon, Sprint and Telus. The Q offers a variety of options, including picture, sound and video support. The device sends standard text messages as well as Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) messages. MMS messages can be sent with attached pictures and sounds. The Motorola Q has a convenient menu for attaching files to MMS messages.

Instructions

1. Press the "Start" button.

2. Scroll to "Messaging." Press the center navigation button.

3. Scroll to "MMS" and press the center navigation button.

4. Press the "New" button.

5. Type the receiving phone number, subject and message.

6. Scroll down to "Insert Picture" and press the center navigation button. Press the "Menu" button and select "My Pictures." Scroll over a picture and press the "Select" button.

7. Scroll down to "Insert Audio" and press the center navigation button. Press the "Menu" button and select "My Device." Scroll over "My Documents" and press the center navigation button. Scroll over a sound press the "Select" button.

8. Press the "Send" button.

• MMS charges will apply based on your carrier and service plan. Be aware of these charges before sending any MMS messages.
