How to Wash Terrycloth Bonnets
Terrycloth bonnets are useful tools when it comes to automotive care and cleaning, as they're soft and non-abrasive on a vehicle's interior and exterior. Terrycloth bonnets can be used by hand to wash, wax or polish a vehicle, or wrapped around the head of a mechanized scrubber, waxing device or polisher.

1
Remove the terrycloth bonnet from any device it is wrapped around once it has become dirty. If the wax or polish applied with the bonnet requires gloves for use, ensure you wear rubber gloves -- per the manufacturer's instructions.
-
2
Put the terrycloth bonnets into your washer. Make sure to wash them alone, with no clothing or other items, as you don't want to mix in clothing with the chemicals that are on the bonnets. Add some laundry detergent and wash the bonnets with warm water.

3
Dry the bonnets on medium heat for an hour. If the bonnets are still damp, continue drying for an additional half an hour, until dry.
-
4
Pour two cups of white vinegar into your washer and run a hot wash cycle, to remove any chemicals or smells that may have been left behind. Do this before you wash any clothing again in the washer.
