How to Clean a Foam Bed
A foam bed provides a soft rest that fits your body shape. It works well if you are not fond of a hard, stiff mattress. Cleaning the foam is a bit different than cleaning your regular mattress, as you want to safely remove buildup without cutting, tearing or otherwise damaging the foam. Things You'll Need
- Vacuum cleaner with nozzle attachment
- Cleaning rag
- Dish soap
- Disinfectant spray

Vacuum the mattress with the nozzle attachment to remove loose dust and buildup. Flip the mattress over and repeat on the opposite side.

Blot stains with a damp cleaning rag moistened with dish soap. Rinse the rag and blot again to remove soap residue.

Spray disinfectant spray over the mattress to kill bacteria. Allow to air-dry before putting on bedding.
